Everything for running your learner community: the shared announcement/discussion feed,member Groups built around topics, and broadcast-style Channels.

Community Feed

The main social feed learners see, where you post announcements and updates and keep an eye on what learners are posting. Pin your most important post to the top, and remove anything that shouldn't be there.

WHAT YOU CAN DO HERE?

Explore the business at a glance.

Create New Post - opens the post composer.

Post text - the main message (up to 5,000 characters).

Tags - up to 5 comma-separated tags added to the post.

Visibility - show the post to Everyone, or only to members of one specific paid tier (a pricing plan with "Feed posts" turned on).

Photo/Video/Audio/Document - attach one image, video, audio file, or document to the post; each shows an upload progress bar

Link - attach a web link to the post.

Poll - attach a poll with a question and 2-8 answer options, a toggle for whether members can see results, a toggle for whether members can change their vote, and a duration (no limit, 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 1 month).

Emoji picker - insert an emoji into the post text.

Post settings - hide the comment count, turn off commenting, or hide the like count on this post.

Pin/unpin - pin a post to the top of the feed, or remove the pin.

Delete - permanently remove a post from the feed.

Posts / Likes / Comments counters - a quick summary of feed activity

Community Tiers panel - read-only list of the paid plans that have "Feed posts" enabled, and how many members are in each.

How do I do it?

A simple path from login to insight.

Click "Create New Post" (or the "Share an announcement..." box)

Write your message, and optionally add tags,a photo/video/audio, a link, or a poll.

Choose who should see it under the visibility dropdown (Everyone, or a specific paid tier).

Adjust post settings (hide comments/likes,disable commenting) if needed, using the gear icon.

Click Publish.

To moderate later: click the pin icon to feature a post, or the trash icon to remove one that breaks the rules

Community Groups

Groups are member-run spaces built around a shared topic (e.g. a course cohort or interest group).Each group has its own feed, members list, and settings, and can be Public, Private (join by request),or Paid (members pay to access).

WHAT YOU CAN DO HERE?

Explore the business at a glance.

Search - search groups by name.

Tabs - filter the list by All groups, Created by me, or Created by others.

Create Group - starts a new group (from ablank form or a template like "Health & Wellness" or "Fan Club").

Create Post - quickly publish a post to one of your existing groups without opening it.

Group card menu (...) - Manage group, or Delete group (permanently removes all its posts, comments, topics and memberships).

Group name - up to 35 characters.

Description - rich text, shown on the group page.

Cover image - recommended size 940x280 (image or video).

Privacy - Public (everyone can see members and posts), Private (only approved members can view), or Paid (members pay to view content).

Join method (Public groups only) - "Join right away" (no approval needed) or "Request to join" (an admin must approve).

Info tab - edit the group's name, description, privacy, join method and cover image.

Posts tab - sub-tabs for

Published/Scheduled/Drafts, filter by author or  topic, create a post (with optional topic, and Publish now / Schedule / Save as draft), like, comment, or delete a post

Comments tab - a table of every comment made in the group (author, comment, which post, date), with delete.

Members tab - search members, Add

Members (from your site's users), set each member's group role (Member or Group Admin), approve pending members, or remove a member.

Tabs tab - show/hide, reorder, rename, or add/remove the custom tabs shown at the top of the group page for members (Discussion,Media, Files, Members, About, Events, plus any

custom tabs you add).

Settings tab - who can post (All members or Group admins only), who can invite members,who can add members, who can create events,what to call members (e.g. "Members"), group rules (add/remove numbered rules members must follow), auto posts (automatically post when new members join, when the group's info changes, or when an event is connected - with an "Enable All" shortcut), and membership questions (add/remove questions asked to people before they can join).

Topics tab - add/remove topics members can tag posts with, and a toggle to require every post to have a topic.

How do I do it?

A simple path from login to insight.

Click "Create Group", pick a template or start blank.

Fill in the group name, description, and cover image.

Choose the privacy level (Public, Private, or Paid) and, for Public groups, the join method.

Click Create Group - you're taken to the group's Info tab.

Use the Members tab to add people, the Settings tab to set posting permissions and rules, and the Posts tab to publish the first post.

To remove a group entirely, use the "..." menu on its card and choose Delete group.

Community Channels

Channels work exactly like Groups - a dedicated space with its own posts, members, and settings - but are meant for more one-directional, broadcast-style updates rather than open discussion group
